Vote Texas Poster

Voting is one of the many ways that ordinary American citizens can enact change and have their voice heard by the powers that be. Voters can have an effect on not only the national levels
of government, but also at the local levels, as well. But, due to recent elections, many American citizens feel as though that voting will have no effect, or if there is an effect, there will not be a significant change. So, I decided to create a poster encouraging Texan Voters to vote. The imagery I created was inspired by both Uncle Sam posters, as well as vintage Western and WPA posters, in order to relate to the Texan voters. The poster was printed on Richeson Printmaking paper using hand-carved imagery on a Challenge Proof Press.
